I had some time for creating today so I decided to play along with the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. The theme this week is In The Middle.
I chose to interpret that as a focal point in the middle of my card.
I masked a circle and sponged Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Inks and then covered that with the SSS Tiny Dots stencil and Wendy Vecchi Embossing Paste. I then added the Darling Poppies die from Memory Box and the SSS Small Hello die cut from black cardstock. A butterfly cut from gold glitter cardstock and vellum using the Memory Box Effera and Rhone Butterfly Wings dies and a few Pretty Pink Posh Metallic Gold sequins finishes things off.
I am also linking this up to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: April Showers/ Spring Flowers.
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your day!
Gorgeous CAS card! It's so striking and pretty, I love the flower dies.

What a wonderful teal circle in the middle of your card.
ReplyDeleteWOW! This is a totally clever and unique card! I was anxiously reading your post to see how you achieved that great polka dot look, so thanks for sharing the details! I would never have thought to do that, but I absolutely love the effect. I also like how you used both bright colors along with the black touches. This is really a stunning piece and I am so glad you shared your skills with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
ReplyDeleteI thought the teal circle was patterned paper until I read your description!! All I have to say is WOW! Love the little dots and those flowers.... no words.... yup, no words just that I love your work..
