The Deconstructed Sketch No. 105

Hi there!

Welcome to this week's version of The Deconstructed Sketch

This week our awesome sketch is brought to us by fantastic Design Team member Sheri Gilson! It is such a great sketch to work with! I just loved it!

I made this card with my sweet roommate in mind who was very kind to me over the last couple of weeks when I was down with a migraine. Thankfully that is behind us now, and I can resume life as normal again!

All of the papers, die cuts, and the sentiment sticker are from October Afternoon's Farmhouse collection (one of my all-time faves!), and the sentiment on the tiny tag is from Verve's You and I set. The buttons are PTI Lemon Tart and the ribbon and lace are both from May Arts.

The other design team members have come up with more inspiration for you using this week's sketch. You can find it all here:

I hope you will have time to play along with us this week! The details and linky tool can be found over on Jen's blog.

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your day!

The Deconstructed Sketch No. 104

Hello there!

Welcome to this week's edition of The Deconstructed Sketch

Jen has another super fun  sketch for us this week. I love all the layers in this one!

Fortunately I made this a week ago (for my mom's birthday!) as I have been down with a migraine for the last several days.

So this will be short and sweet today.

Highlights: Graphic 45 Secret Garden and Butterfly Circle Nestablities.

The Deconstructed Sketch No. 103

Hello there!

It's already time for another Deconstructed Sketch! How time flies!

I made this card for my dad's 60th birthday.

I love this Crafty Secrets set (Car Classics), unfortunately it is only available as a digital now. The paper is Swagger by Fancy Pants Designs.

The Deconstructed Sketch No. 102

Hello there!

Welcome to this week's edition of The Deconstructed Sketch

Jen has a super fun and easy sketch for us this week. My card came together in no time (after a trip to town yielded some inspiring new products!)

I used some Fancy Pants Trendsetter Paper and Verve's Blessings and Hope Blooms stamp sets, along with some Studio Calico Wood Veneer Stars. My favorite Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX  from My Favorite Things and a Fiskars Star Punch finishes things off.

This card will also be entered into Verve's Diva Dare Challenge that is still going on... The challenge is to use stars and stripes.

Trying Something New...

I have had more time than usual to play in the craft room this week! Lucky me!

I discovered a new challenge blog that I thought I would try. Usually if I play along with challenges, they are sketch challenges, but this one is a color challenge! How fun is that?!

Have you heard of the Dynamic Duos Challenge Blog? This week just happens to be their one year anniversary celebration so participants can choose from any of the past color combos to make their projects.

I chose this one:

And created this card:

My photo set-up had to be moved this week and is a little less than ideal. I am still having a hard time getting the best pictures, so the gray is not showing up but it is there! =)

This card will also be entered in the Verve Diva Dare to use stars and stripes.
The extra challenge was to make a CAS card, which is totally not my style, but sometimes it is fun to try something new!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Enjoy your day!

Mojo Monday 293... on Monday!

Look at this! I am actually playing along with Mojo Monday again, and I was able to complete my card on Monday... instead of Sunday night! I feel so accomplished! =)

My card today is also going to be entered into Verve's Diva Dare Challenge to use stars and stripes. Woooo! Two birds. One stone. I am on a roll today.

I used some more new-to-me paper from My Mind's Eye. This one is called Kate & Co {Cambridge Court}. The stamp is one of my all-time Verve favorites: Little Star Plain Jane. I also pulled out my trusty Verve Pennant Trim Die. {Love that die. It is always on the top of my desk!} I used a little Pink Lipstick Glimmer Glam by Tattered Angels to sparkle things up a bit here and there. A bit of Papertrey Ink Ocean Tides ribbon finishes things off!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Enjoy your day!
