The Deconstructed Sketch No. 159

Hello there!

Welcome to this week's edition of The Deconstructed Sketch!

It's another good one!

I was lucky enough to be a winner in last month's Work it Wednesday Challenge over on the Simon Says Stamp blog, and was the happy recipient of a goody box that contained one of their awesome Card Kits from a previous month. It was full of lots of fun! I especially liked the stamp set... I know I will get a lot of use out of it!

This card is going to a special friend of ours who really is always there when we need her. This sentiment is so perfect!

You Brighten My Life

Hello there!

I have a fun little card to share today.

My bff/roommate is a nurse and commissioned me to make a thank you card for another nurse who helped her out recently.

When I saw Lawn Fawn's latest release with the new Get Well Soon stamp set, I knew we had to have it! Not necessarily for get well cards, but for all kinds of nursing related cards. That little bird is just the cutest!

I also used the Spring Showers die set, and a sentiment from the Life is Good stamp set. The thank you sentiments are from Mama Elephant's awesome Many Thanks stamp set. The papers are from Lawn Fawn's Let's Polka 6x6 petite paper pack.

I am linking this up to Simon Says Stamp Work it Wednesday Challenge for June which is just to share something you create!

The Deconstructed Sketch No. 156

Hello there!

Welcome to this week's edition of The Deconstructed Sketch!

Jen has created a super fun sketch with lots of layers for us this week!

I decided to pull out one of my favorite 6x6 paper pads -- Fresh Cut by Basic Grey -- and start there with the inspiration for my card. I just love the colors and patterns in this collection... they make me happy!

The beautiful Lunette Butterfly die is by Memory Box and the sentiment is from the Water Blooms stamp set by Mama Elephant. The fabulous ribbon is by May Arts.
