Random Things...

Today I am sick at home in bed... so I thought I would share some of the interesting things I have come across in my web surfing. I have recently become addicted to The Pioneer Woman's blog. She is so funny, takes amazing photos, and shares fabulous recipes. She is on a cookbook tour right now, I only wish she were coming to my area!



In the process of reading her blog, I discovered Wild Olive Tees. I now have to have some of these T-shirts. I pretty much only wear t-shirts, so these are totally my thing. So beautiful, so flourishy, and they have Bible verses on them! Super cool!

This card was created with my best friend in mind. She LOVES vintage Christmas and glitter. The image is from Crafty Secrets. The DP is Webster's Pages, and the cardstock is the fabulous Bazzill Dotted Swiss collection. The hardware is Tim Holtz. I sprayed the chipboard frame with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist {Olive Vine}.

I LOVE October Afternoon!

My new obsession is October Afternoon! I find myself using only their papers, stamps, rub-ons, etc. lately. I can't help myself, they are just soooo cute! The only problem is: they are hard to find in my neck of the woods. I have to drive 100 miles to get my supplies. Tragic! This card is made with the Cherry Hill line of papers. Egg Basket and Sunday Dishes, to be exact. The stamp is from Crafty Secrets: Girlfriends. I used my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder to emboss the cardstock and I distressed the edges to shabby it up a little. A little bit of lace from Maya Road and a scrap of PTI New Leaf ribbon finishes it off.
