The Deconstructed Sketch No. 75

Hello there! I have had so much fun playing in my craft room for the last 2 days! It seems like I have been away from home so much lately and so crazy busy when I am home that I never get time to just create, you know? But the last couple of days have been lazy, creative days... such good therapy!

Today's sketch was a lot of fun... I say that every week, don't I? I really am having a lot of fun playing along with the Deconstructed Sketch Girls.

I am trying to use a different paper and stamp set every week, so I looked through my box and found that I hadn't used any Graphic 45 yet, and I think Crafty Secrets stamps just work beautifully with G45 papers, so, voila! A perfect match! A bit of distress ink, some crochet trim, and a few vintage-y embellishments and we have ourselves this week's card!

Be sure to check out what the other Design Team members have created with this fabulous sketch:

Thanks so much for stopping by! Enjoy your day!

  1. I love this....those CS children are adorable!

  2. This is just gorgeous Cresta! I love the vintage image you used and the way you stamped it is amazing! Just LOVE this!

  3. This is a gorgeous card! It has a Victorian feel with the color, lace, and the adorable stamped immage. So beautiful!
I think we will soon be going by you as we will be camping at the Dallles or close by there.

    1. How fun! I actually live in Dallesport now, which is just across the river from The Dalles. If you have a chance you should check out Urban Paper, our Local Scrapbooking Store in The Dalles (very easy to find, it's not a big town). It is an AWESOME little store.

  4. Another gorgeous vintage Christmas card Cresta! And yes, I think you are spot on pairing the G45 papers with that adorable image! Beautiful Work!!! Xx

  5. What a perfect vintage Christmas card. Just lovely Cresta.

  6. Gorgeous Christmas card, Cresta!! Love the fabulous vintage design!!

  7. Cresta...this is so pretty and so "antiquey". The bits of the deep maroon add just the right touch to set the tone for your card! Love it! Do hope you can come color again soon. Thinking of having a Saturday coloring day maybe at the beginning of December if things calm down. Will keep you posted!

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave me a message! I appreciate each and every one! Have a great day!
