I do believe this is the first time I have ever made a round card! I am not sure why... it was fun! I was excited to try Jen's sketch this week, and I got new papers on my shopping expedition to the big city so I was ready to go!
For this week's card I used the beautiful new Teresa Collins Christmas Cottage collection. I just love everything she designs. Her style really speaks to me.
I had a little trouble with the square panel on my card because I really wanted to show off the strip of patterned paper rather than cover it up, so after about an hour of trying this and that, I hit upon the idea of creating this dimensional ornament (complete with ornament hanger that I robbed from my Christmas tree box!) and I rather like how it turned out.
I hope you will check out what the other Deconstructed Sketch Girls have created for you today. I know I am excited to see what everyone else has designed using this week's fabulous sketch!
