Today's card was born because my roommate needed a "thinking of you" card for her aunt, so I decided to create one based on Jen's Deconstructed Sketch No. 23, and Verve's Get Your Diva On Handmade Happiness Challenge.
I used Blush papers from My Mind's Eye Lost and Found Two Collection, Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink, a sentiment from Papertrey Ink's Everyday Classics stamp set, and created a flower from an old pattern that I picked up for a dime at a yard sale this summer. I spritzed it with some Tattered Angels Pearl Glimmer Mist and sewed a PTI Sweet Blush button in the center.
I have been working on Christmas cards lately, will try to post some soon.
Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful day!

ReplyDeleteLove that flower, what a fantastic look! I hope you are not getting too stressed out. I've got my back out again, but lots of home therapy and I'll be able to slowly trek along. Have a marvelous holiday this week with your family!
