Papertrey Ink - SAF 2014 Regency Era

Hello There!

Today is Papertrey Ink's Stamp-a-Faire 2014, the theme is Time Travel.

I am way behind on the challenges, but I thought I would post this one at least, and see where the day takes me!

The Challenge:
Use gold embossing powder on a stamped die cut frame and combine it with distress ink or brown/black ink to show how rubbing darker ink over gold embossing ages the appearance.

Here is my interpretation of it:

I used:
From Papertrey Ink: Dearest Jane Patterned Paper, Simply Jane Stamp and Die Set, Mat Stack Die, Round and Round Stamp Set, Button Stacks and Bitty Button Stacks Dies, Damask Designs Stamp Set, Sweet Blush Buttons, Dark Chocolate Ink.
My Mind's Eye Lost and Found II Breeze Paper, Hero Arts Black Dye Ink, Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distress Ink, Delicata Golden Glitz Pigment Ink, Memento Angel Pink Dye Ink, Vintage Trims.

Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your day!

  1. This is beautiful! Your product choices were perfect for this technique and era - that frame from Simply Jane is perfect!

  2. This card is stunning and very elegant. Love the vintage feel.

  3. Gorgeous! Everything is just "right"-- that takes real talent and artistry!

  4. What a beautiful and elegant card! You just shoved this stamp set way up my wish list. :)

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave me a message! I appreciate each and every one! Have a great day!
