The Deconstructed Sketch No. 79

Well, here we are, the last sketch for November, which means my guest stint with The Deconstructed Sketch Girls has come to an end. What a lot of fun I have had creating along side these super talented ladies each week. It has been such a great experience for me, I have enjoyed getting to know them just a little through their cards and comments.

They have stretched me as a crafter to try new things. They all inspire me with their amazing coloring abilities... so much talent on this team!  A special shout-out to Kadie: whether you know it or not, you have shown me how to look at sketches differently, and not interpret them so literally. I actually flipped this week's sketch on it's side! =) And one more, it has been so awesome to see my name in the same column as Amy Sheffer. She has been my paper crafting hero for several years now... when I grow up, I want to make cards like her. I just love everything you create, Amy!
So, thank you, Jen, for giving me this opportunity, and thank you, DS Girls, for your encouraging words and inspiration. It has been fun!

And now...

It’s time for YOU to throw your hat into the ring to be our next guest designer. If you’d like to be considered all you need to do is make a project with this week’s sketch, post it on your blog and add a link to InLinks on Jen's blog for DS79. That’s it! The deadline to enter is next Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 10 pm CST. The guest designer will be announced next Friday, December 7, 2012 and will design with us for DS81 and DS82 before we break for the Christmas holiday!!

Here's a look at this week's card:
I got some new stamps from My Favorite Things this week, so I just had to ink them up! The paper is Stella and Rose by My Mind's Eye, the buttons are PTI Spring Rain, and the butterfly is by Jenni Bowlin and I colored it with a Copic Marker.

Be sure to stop by the fabulous Deconstructed Sketch Girls blogs to see what they have created using this week's sketch. You know it's going to be awesome!

Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful day!!

  6. Cresta, I'm sorry that it's taken me so long to get around to this post. I've seriously been slacking in blogland. There's just not enough time in the day it seems. Thank you so much for your shout out to me. You are too sweet and I enjoyed every moment getting to be on the team with you during your guest stint at DSC. You are so talented and such a delightful person (and we're automatically kindred being both Washingtonians)! Much love and blessings to you! You rocked this sketch! Great job giving it the old flip-a-roo!
And P.S. I had that exact same reaction about being on the team with Amy! ♥
