Welcome to this week's edition of The Deconstructed Sketch! As usual, Jen has a magnificent sketch for us! ...so many possibilities! In fact, I liked it so much I made two versions this week. =)
I made this using the new Twelve Days of Christmas papers from Graphic 45 and Papertrey Ink's Big and Bold Holiday Wishes.

I have really been inspired by the clean and simple stylings of Laura Bassen and Cristina Kowalczyk recently. This card was made by placing one of my circle Nestabilities on a piece of white cardstock and sponging the inside with 3 different colors of inks. The stamp sets are Mama Elephant's Hello and Sunny Skies. This card was made for the Hope You Can Cling To Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers to make a Blingtastic card.

Oh my! Both are fantastic! I love the vintage feel of your first holiday card!! Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteYour sponging of colours on the second is perfect! I've been into CAS a lot lately too! GREAT cards!
I love both of your cards Cresta. The G45 one is just so rich in colour, and the inked one pops right off the page. Fabulous.
ReplyDeleteThese are both wonderful Cresta ! I love that you took such different approaches to both cards. Your Christmas card is gorgeous! I love all the details and you CAS card is perfect! What a great idea to sponge inside the circles!
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are fabulous! I really like the big floral circles - such a terrific idea to use a large print that way - simply gorgeous! The second card is just perfect with those sponged circles and the text bubble. Love it!
ReplyDeleteIt was a fun sketch, right! And I love both of your versions! Cute as always, Cresta!! hugs, kadie
