The Deconstructed Sketch No. 83

Hello Friends.

Do you ever use crafting as therapy?

That is what my card for today was for me.
My amazing grandmother passed away a few days ago. We had her service on Saturday. So very hard to say good-bye. Even though we knew it was coming. Even though we had her a good 2 years longer than the doctors said we would. She was the best. I am so thankful that she was mine. I found a quote a couple of days ago that says it all:

a grandmother is
a little bit parent,
a little bit teacher,
and a little bit best friend.

That's exactly what she was for me. I love her so much. I miss her so much. It's still a little unreal to believe that she is gone.

But this card is for her.

I used My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline Howdy Doody papers, Papertrey Ink Life is Sweet Stamps and Dies, Hero Arts/Studio Calico Heyday Sentiments Stamp.

It is based on Jen's awesome sketch. I am always inspired by her sketches. They are so fun to work with.

Well, thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a great day.

-Never forget to tell the people that you love how much you love and appreciate them. You never know if the last time you see them will be the last time that you see them.-
