Unity Inspiration Challenge

I got brand new paper today...
My fingers were itching to make a card...
My facebook feed told me that Unity Stamp Company is hosting a new Inspiration Challenge...
I checked it out,
Found this fabulous sketch,
and went to work!

I Love, Love, Love everything about this card! These new papers from the My Mind's Eye Collectable collection are so happy and spring-y! This sketch is so fun! I love the fishtail banner and the sentiment on the side... two of my favorite things. So, really, how can you go wrong? And the stamp is one of my all-time favorites from Unity.

So, if you are looking for a fun, new challenge head on over to Unity Stamp Co. and check it out for yourself. If scrapbooking is more your style, they have a sketch for that too. Super fun.

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your day!

The Deconstructed Sketch No. 89

Hello and Happy Valentine's Day!

Jen has a super fun sketch for us today. I just love the separated scallops. This is a great sketch to work with and really get creative with! I made this card for my dad to give to my mom today.

I used lots of My Mind's Eye Love Me goodness, and a bit of May Arts ribbon for today's card.

Here is the list of the other Design Team members so you can see what awesomeness they have created with today's fabulous sketch:
If you want to play along with us this week, the linky tool and details are over on Jen's blog!

Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your day!!

For The Girl...

A while back I placed my first order with My Favorite Things. I am probably the last person in the world to discover this awesome company and all of the wonderful things they have to offer.

This week I finally had a chance to sit down and just plaaaaaay in the craft room. It feels good to feel good for a change! So, I have been trying out some of my new goodies and creating up a little storm!

MFT has all kinds of fun challenges to play along with. This card is based on their monthly Guest Designer Sketch which I just loved, so I had to play along. I only modified it slightly. *wink*

I just love the Die-namics Gift Card Pocket, it is such a clever die, and the pocket assembles so easily! The coordinating stamp set is just fabulous. And, I can't say enough about the Die-namics Fishtail Flags Layers STAX, I have been using them on nearly every card I make since I got them!

Here is what the card looks like with a gift card in the pocket. I used a card for my favorite Local Scrapbook Store, because it matched so nicely with the papers! =)

I just love the way this turned out. I am so excited to make more cards using the Gift Card Pocket Die-namics. The possibilities are endless!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!
