Sketch For You To Try

I have long been a fan of Jen del Muro, and always think I will get to try her weekly sketches, but never have until now... the last one of the year! This week, her challenge is to use any previous sketch, so I chose this one to base my card on:



I used Making Memories {I believe} for the DP and Papertrey Ink {Scarlet Jewel} cardstock and buttons. The little birdie stamp and sentiment are from the Papertrey stamp set {Tiny Treats:Christmas}. It doesn't show up in the picture very well, but I used my Slice to cut a snowflake from acetate to put behind the birdie focal point for added dimension and interest.

Mojo Monday 168

Well, it looks like I have been absent for a long time! I have been so busy... life has a way of doing that to us! I have been creating, just not always remembering to take pictures, therefore not really having anything to share. I did have time to play with this week's Mojo Monday sketch, however, and I DID remember to take a pic, mostly because I was just so pleased with the way this turned out!



The papers are from The Girl's Paperie {Paper Girl} line, as are the die cuts, the bling is Prima, buttons are Papertrey Ink {Sweet Blush}, sentiment is Papertrey {Round and Round}, and the lace trim is May Arts. I also brushed on some Chandelier Glimmer Glam by Tattered Angels.
